James Cancer Center to Construct Offices at Gowdy Field Development of the former Gowdy Field landfill will be completed late next year when the City’s Heliport site is redeveloped into a $20 million medical office building for the Ohio State University Medical Center. Two phases of the project have been completed, which has resulted in two new office buildings totaling 200,000 square feet of space, $30 million of investment and has brought more than 700 jobs to the site.
